poor customer service and quality After installing the new parts I noticed a minor cosmetic problem with one of the handles. Danco told me I would have to send back the whole kit and since it was already installed I didn’t want to waste more time on this project. I thought they would just replace the handle. The product has been installed about 3 months and the diverter valve seal is already leaking. I thought this kit was a good bargain but it’s true what they say. “You get what you pay for” Cheap price, inferior parts.
Perfect Sterling replecement These were very easy to install, shower diverter and h/c on/off work perfectly – leaks are gone!The hard part was removing the old stems and seats! Took a 12″ Channellock and seat wrench. The image shows the old valve stems and seats that needed replacing. These had been installed since ~1965 and didn’t come off without some elbow grease! The Danco replacements fit perfectly, and took only 15 minutes.Kit comes with everything you need except for a seat wrench.
Works and Good Quality Good quality product for half of what H.D. charges just for the stems. Same Manufacturer.
