Less trouble than renting and you own it ! WOW ! You’ll probably pay as much to rent out a jackhammer as you’ll pay to buy this unit free and clear and use it anytime you want!!Starts and runs quickly usually on first pull ! Performs as good if not better than some air powered units I’ve used over the years and without the hassle of air hoses and a giant air compressor in tow ! Bits change easily.Unit was thoughtfully packaged and seems to be ruggedly constructed.Went through my basement floor with ease for a sump pump and drain project, and worked just as well in several other similar projects.l Would have loved to have given it 5 stars but throttle is touchy and inconveniently located, and I can’t read a word of Chinese.Would advise company to make an English version of their instruction manual online.

I’m a land surveyor and we have bought gas hammers … I’m a land surveyor and we have bought gas hammers for 2K, this 300.00 one works just the same. This hammer came with the exact tool kit, bits, carburetor and decals as the $2K hammer we have. The foot pounds of impact eclipse the expensive one also. I went to demo this hammer before buying, that hammer has been in use for almost 3 years with no issue and its used almost daily.

Seems to work pretty good held vertically but not to well horizontally Seems to work pretty good held vertically but not to well horizontally. The instructions were in Chinese? so I had to guess at the operation. The throttle set up is kind of flimsy.
