Good for casual use OK, don’t for one minute think this is a heavy-duty professional-grade machine. I know because for about 12 years I had a Bosch 1 1/2″ spline-shank rotary hammer that was one brutal piece of equipment. It would get so hot you couldn’t touch it without gloves, and wear out a full grown man, and still be ready for more. Over those 12 years I had it rebuilt twice, and would still have it if it hadn’t been stolen about 5 years ago. But I no longer need a tool like that, so spending the necessary money to replace it just doesn’t make sense now.At best this is a shadow of the Bosch, which is a superb piece of equipment, but in spite of that it works, and works well enough to get the job done, at least the jobs I’ve handed it so far over the past few weeks: basically a dozen 1/2″ and 4 1″ holes in a 5″ concrete slab, as well as chipping 4 of the 1/2″ holes into a 4″ square, and chipping a couple of holes through 4″ cinder blocks filled with concrete…

Weak gears I used it twice and the gear twisted so now it only hammers. Going to see if they sell the gear. Was past the return date because I didn’t use it much.
