The trigger is the key At first, I couldn’t figure out why the drill wasn’t going at full speed. Eventually, I realized that my fingers were too high up on the trigger, which meant I wasn’t fully engaging it. When I moved my fingers down to the bottom, I was able to fully engage the trigger, and the drill responded with full RPMs.I bought this to demolish two bathrooms (old tile on walls and floors), and it worked very, very well. This purchase cost me about as much as renting a similar (though probably much more powerful) tool for a single day.The only problem (and the reason for the deduction of one star) is the woefully inadequate user (instruction) manual. It’s terrible. It mentions diagrams that don’t show up in the documentation, etc. I looked for a better version online, but couldn’t find one.
Powerful sds hammer drill Great power to weight ratio.For the money, way better then HF.Took out a chimney top to bottom.Another brick wall and a ton of ceramic tile.Still working great.
Worked great for about 45 minutes The picture shows it all. After 20 square feet of tile removal, the head fell off. Springs and ball-bearings all over the place. It worked great up until it didn’t. Amazon truly does have amazing customer service. I was well within the return window and they had a replacement at my door the very next day. I figure that I will give it another chance. Many of the reviews were good so I’m hoping mine was just the unfortunate bad apple in an otherwise basket of fairly good apples. 5 stars for Amazon CS.
